Didsbury Baptist Church supports various organisations and mission groups financially and with time and effort. Some are funded as a budgeted expenditure and others through direct fundraising and giving. We are also members of several groups throughout Manchester and the UK.

Baptist Home Mission

Home Mission is all about helping Baptist churches and individuals to reach their mission potential and bring the love of God to their communities.

Baptist Union of Great Britain

Baptists Together seeks to grow healthy churches in relationship for God’s mission.

Barnabus

Barnabus is a Christian Homeless Charity, providing a lifeline to the homeless in Manchester for over 30 years. Church members make sandwiches 3-4 times a year for Barnabus.

The Beeches

The Beeches is a women’s hostel for young women at risk of homelessness.

BMS World Mission

BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in over 30 countries on four continents, to help people experience fullness of life in Jesus Christ.

Chorlton & Didsbury Foodbank

The foodbank is part of The Trussell Trust’s network of 428 foodbanks, working to tackle food poverty and hunger in our local communities, as well as across the UK. We collect food at the church to take to the foodbank regularly throughout the year.

Christian Aid

Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.

Didsbury and Burnage Churches Working Together

DABCWT is an informal ecumenical group of churches and their congregations, who meet to do things together socially and spiritually, in Didsbury and Burnage, South Manchester.

Northern Baptist College

Northern Baptist College is an up to date, two hundred years-old learning community. With deep roots in the Northern half of England they seek to equip women and men for leadership in the mission of God wherever they might be called – particularly in this part of God’s world.
