Cavendish Singers in concert at DBC

I am looking forward to Saturday evening (24 March) when the Cavendish Singers and soloists will present the Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle here at Didsbury Baptist Church. The concert begins at 7.30pm; tickets £8 on the door (under 14s free). Join us if you can, it promises to be a great night.

Convivia at DBC

After a great week of celebration and an inspiring visit from Pat Took, we close out our Grand Opening activities with a concert by the six voice a cappella group, Convivia. Join us if you can; you are in for a treat!

Swingin’ Affair at DBC

25 piece band Swingin’ Affair will appear in concert at Didsbury Baptist Church tomorrow evening (Sat 7 May) at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are £6 (£4 concessions).

Didsbury Arts Festival at DBC

We will be hosting six events for the Didsbury Arts Festival this year. The first of them will take place on Saturday evening at 7.30 p.m. when the Nick Holmes Band and Illusion will perform at DBC. The Nick Holmes Band have appeared at Didsbury Baptist Church on a few occasions in the past and are always very well received. If you are anywhere near Didsbury on Saturday, why not come and join us? Admission is £5.00

Harmony Gospel Choir at St Peter’s

Kat Brealey, a member of our congregation, is also part of the Harmony Gospel Choir. They will be performing at St Peter’s Chaplaincy, Manchester on Saturday 15 May at 7.30 p.m. Tickets (from Kat or on the door): £5.

Our church building has excellent acoustics so it makes an interesting venue for music concerts. The Nick Homes Band played there in January and will be back again on Friday 26 Feb. A few of their songs from the last concert are available on YouTube:
