Countdown to Copenhagen

CAIDCopenhagen09As part of its Countdown to Copenhagen campaign,  Christian Aid is appealing to its supporters to e-mail Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, to urge him to attend the Copenhagen summit in person and to help deliver climate justice for the world’s poor. The UN’s Copenhagen climate summit in December will set out how the world tackles global warming.

Christian Aid marked 100 days to Copenhagen at the weekend by staging its first Mass Visual Trespass. Images of Christian Aid supporters holding up climate justice messages were beamed onto a cooling tower at the E.ON power station in Ironbridge, Shropshire. A series of similar events will take place over the next four months. You can join the trespass by recording your message and sending it to Christian Aid. Find out more at the Christian Aid website.
